Look everyone, my helmet matches my outfit!

This cutie is wearing a cranial remodelling orthosis for 23 hours a day to help improve her head shape. Many babies with moderate-severe plagiocephaly who don’t respond well to more conservative therapy first get referred for helmet therapy and the results are usually amazing! We regularly treat children with torticollis and plagiocephaly and have many resources for families with questions.

Ongoing physiotherapy when torticollis is also a factor is important. We work towards full and functional neck ROM, symmetrical movement patterns and balanced muscle development as children grow and advance their gross motor skills.
